蕭泰然文教基金會成立於1998年6月18日，以公益、教育、文化推廣為核心宗旨，致力於傳承與推廣台灣作曲家蕭泰然（Tyzen Hsiao, 1938–2015）的音樂精神與文化價值。

蕭泰然老師的作品深深扎根於台灣土地，融合西方古典音樂的嚴謹結構與台灣旋律的溫暖情感，呈現出屬於台灣的聲音，也讓世界聽見台灣的溫柔與堅定。基金會希望透過音樂教育與公共文化行動，讓更多人認識台灣的作曲家、理解台灣的文化脈絡，並以音樂作為世代之間的橋樑。

基金會長期推動各項公益文化計畫，包括：舉辦紀念音樂會與推廣演出、音樂講座與校園教育、作品研究整理與出版、典藏資料保存，以及協助演出單位與音樂家取得合法授權與樂譜資源。在尊重著作權與維護作品精神的前提下，讓蕭泰然老師的音樂能持續被演奏、被聆聽、被傳承。

蕭泰然老師的音樂不只是藝術創作，更承載著對土地的情感、對時代的回應，以及信仰中盼望與安慰的力量。蕭泰然文教基金會將持續以公益教育為出發點，讓音樂成為社會的祝福，讓台灣的文化在世界舞台上持續發光。

The Tyzen Hsiao Foundation was established on June 18, 1998, with a mission centered on public welfare, education, and cultural promotion. We are dedicated to preserving and promoting the musical legacy of renowned Taiwanese composer Tyzen Hsiao (1938–2015).

Deeply rooted in Taiwan, Tyzen Hsiao’s music blends the structure of Western classical traditions with the warmth of Taiwanese melodies, creating a distinctive “Voice of Taiwan” that reflects both gentleness and strength. Through concerts, education programs, research, publications, and archival preservation, the Foundation supports the continued performance and appreciation of his works while upholding copyright and artistic integrity.

More than artistic creation, Tyzen Hsiao’s music carries love for the land, a response to the times, and the hope and comfort found in faith. We strive to let music inspire society and help Taiwanese culture shine on the world stage.
